Passion fruit ice cream

I could not find the words to express my love for passion fruit. It’s something I never have enough of. I grew up drinking the juice all the time. Now, I love to incorporate the flavor in many different desserts. This time around it’s ice cream.

Ingredients:
1 cup of heavy cream
4-5 passion fruits
1/2 cup of condensed milk
1 tbsp of almond extract

Homemade ice cream with heavy cream is pretty easy to do. Whip the heavy cream with the condensed milk until soft peaks. When whipping heavy cream, it helps to have everything cold (the whisks, bowl, and the cream). When you reach soft peaks, pour in the almond extract and the passion fruit juice and whip them until stiff peaks.

Keep in mind that you can also add in the passion fruit seeds. They are safe to consume, and adding them amplify the passion fruit flavor. Or you can leave some to serve on top of the ice cream.

Once the heavy cream reach stiff peaks, pour it in a recipient and keep it in the freezer for at least 4 hours, or overnight.

When serving, give it right away to the person
