Beet hummus toast

Have this for a good breakfast, or lunch or even a snack. Whatever tickles your fancy. You can even omit the avocado and replace it with some caramelized onions (one of my favorite toppings for toast). In this recipe, you got your protein, carbs and fat and it’s easy to assemble.

Turn up the BEET on this toast!!!

Ingredients:
Sliced bread of choice
beet hummus
avocado slice
sesame seeds

Let’s get started!!!

Toast the bread. Meanwhile, take a generous avocado slice and dice it. Squeeze half a lime juice over the diced avocados so they keep their vibrant green color, and not turn black. And that is the hardest part of this recipe. Now it’s time to assemble the toast.

Spread the beet hummus on the warm toast bread. Use one or two tablespoons of hummus, depending on how much you want. Arrange the diced avocados on top of the hummus. And then sprinkle the sesame seeds. And the beet hummus toast is ready.

Serve warm.
