Cantaloupe smoothie

Spread the love

I’m not a big fan of melons, especially cantaloupes. But my uncle loves cantaloupe, and I decided to make this smoothie for him. I gave it a try, and it was tasty; I liked it. The creaminess of the smoothie compliments the fruity taste of the cantaloupe. So, I made a batch for myself.

You can’t elope without a cantaloupe!!!

Ingredients:
1 cantaloupe
1 banana
2 cups of milk (I am using plant-based)
1 tbsp of almond extract
1/3 cup of agave syrup

Let’s get started!!!

This recipe is so easy, even a kid can be trusted to do it. Dice the fruits and freeze them, for at least one hour.

Once the fruits are frozen, it’s time to make the smoothie. In a blender, add the diced fruits, milk, syrup and extract, and blend until smooth. Keep in mind that if you want this recipe to be vegan, use a plant-based milk and agave syrup, not honey. You can use vanilla extract in this smoothie, but I think the almond extract works better here.

Serve cold.

Enjoy your drink
