Baked sweet potatoes fries

A yummy alternative to your usual homemade fries. These bake sweet potatoes are healthy and filling.

Ingredients:
3 sweet potatoes
1 tsp of turmeric
1 tsp of garlic powder
1 tsp of chili powder
1/2 tsp of black pepper
salt to taste
1/4 cup of coconut oil
1 tbsp of cornstarch

Before any sorts of cooking is done, the first thing to do is to peel the sweet potatoes, cut them and let them soak in some water. Soak them for around one hour. After they are done soaking, drain them and dry them with a towel as much as you can.

Preheat the oven at 350 degrees F

Keep in mind that you can use any spices that your heart desire. Those were my choice, because I wanted to keep things simple. But make sure to keep the salt for after they are done baking. Season them with the spices. Add in the cornstarch and oil. Mix them well into the sweet potatoes. Lay the sweet potatoes on a baking sheet line with a silicon sheet or just a parchment paper. Make sure to leave some space in the between each potato slice. And put them in the oven

Bake them for 20-25 minutes, or however crisp you want them to be. Once they are done cooking, sprinkle salt on them right away.

Serve warm. I had mine with a little bit of sriracha sauce.
