Blueberry yogurt bowl

Spread the love

I love any types of bowl in the morning for breakfast; whether it’s yogurt bowls, oatmeal bowls, or smoothie bowls, just because the toppings can be whatever your heart desires. I actually didn’t like the coconut flakes that much, but found that out when I started eating them with the yogurt.

This blueberry yogurt bowl won’t leave you felling blue in the morning.

Ingredients:
2 cups of blueberries
16 oz of greek yogurt
1 cup of sugar
1 tbsp of vanilla extract

Toppings of your choice. I am using:
sunflower seeds
banana
pecans
coconut flakes

Let’s get started!!!

First thing is to make the blueberry syrup. In a pot, add in the blueberries and pour in the sugar. Put the pot on medium/high heat and wait until it starts to boil. The blueberries will give off their own juice, no need to add water. After the blueberries have popped, put them in a blender and blend until smooth. Strain the syrup, and set aside to cool down completely.

Once the syrup has cooled down completely it can be added to the yogurt and mix well. When you are done mixing the syrup with the yogurt, arrange the top with toppings of your choice on top.

Enjoy
Thank you for your time!
