Don’t let the carrots fool you. There’s nothing healthy about these ones. But they taste great though. I think we should start caalling them “boozy carrots”!!! No??

I’ll Start. Here’s the recipe for Boozy Carrots

Ingredients:
4-5 carrots
11 stick (1/2 cup) of butter
1/3 cup of brown sugar
1/4 cup of bourbon (or any of your favorite booze)
1/4 tsp of salt
1/4 tsp of black pepper
1/2 tsp of chili powder
1/2 tsp of parsley

Let’s get started!!!

Actually this is a very easy side dish to prepare. Let’s begin with the most difficult part: slicing the carrots. Cut off the ends of the carrots and slice them to about equal sizes. Next, on a hot pan, melt the butter. Add the carrots to the melted butter and let them sautee for about one minute. Add the spices and let them sautee for another minute. Next add the brown sugar and let it coat the carrots for a minute. It will start melting. After that, pour in the bourbon, and let it cook until the alcohol evaporates.

The small fire stunt you saw in the video was all for visual purposes; do not attempt if you are not use to doing it.

Serve warm.
