Fruit leathers

Spread the love

I love love fruit leathers. They are such great snacks. Simple to make; they give a good amount; and are healthy, and plant-based. I make them pretty often. I have been making the mango one every week ever since mango season started; it is my favorite flavor. Other flavors I love are strawberry, and pineapple. Watch how easy it is to make.

This recipe is a very fruitful one!

Ingredients:
3 mangoes
1 lb of blueberries

Let’s get started!!

Wash your fruits. A fruit like the blueberries where you are going to use the skin, make sure are you buying a good quality organic fruit. Peel and dice the mangoes. Blend each fruit, separately, until a smooth puree forms. Spread the fruit puree on a non-stick baking sheet, making sure that one side doesn’t have more fruit than the other.

Dry out the fruit in a 200 degrees F oven, for about three hours. Check them every hour to check the state; whether they are drying out too fast. For me, the blueberry finished first. I rolled half the blueberry, and made fragments out of the rest. I rolled the whole mango, and later cut 1 inch rolls out of the mango one.

Enjoy your snack
