Who doesn’t love berries?? Strawberries, blueberries, raspberries, blackberries!!? If you do, this video recipe is for you. I you don’t, this video recipe is still for you because it taste great and you should give it a try. With the use of plant-based milk, this recipe is vegan. And the additional ginger in the drink gives it a nice zing.
This smoothie is berry tasty!!!
Ingredients:
2 cups of strawberry
2 cups of raspberry
2 cups of blueberry
2 cups of plant-based milk
1 piece of ginger
Let’s get started!
First thing, after washing the fruits, is too freeze them. If you don’t freeze the fruits, the smoothie will be runnier than a normal smoothie texture. You can add ice instead of freezing the fruits, but unless you drink your smoothie right away, the ice will water down the drink. Therefore, freezing the fruits is the best option for a lasting thick smoothie.
After the fruits have frozen, peel the ginger and dice it. In a blender, add the vegan milk (I am using almond milk), frozen berries and ginger, and blend until smooth. You can drink the smoothie as is, but if you don’t like the seeds like me, strain the juice and get rid of the seed, for a smoother smoothie.
