Strawberry sorbet

I’ve been making this sorbet recipe all summer. I love to cool down with a cold dessert during the summer and sorbets are the perfect tools for that. And strawberry is one of my favorite flavors for sorbet.

Oh sorbet!!! I love you BERRY much!!!

Ingredients:
2 pint of strawberries
1 cup of water
1 cup of sugar
1 tsp of extract of your choice

Let’s get started!!!

Start by washing the strawberries. Cut the strawberries and freeze them for about an hour. Right after that make a simple syrup. Simple syrup is equal parts water and sugar. Mix the water and sugar together and bring them to a boil. Let it cool down completely

In a blender, add the frozen strawberries, the cooled simple syrup and the extract and blend until smooth. Pour the juice into a recipient and freeze for at least four hours. Use your ice cream scoop to serve.
